The Doctoral Program in Economics by the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) is adapted to Royal Decree 99\2011, of January 28, which regulates the official Doctorate courses.
The course is conformed by a set of activities corresponding to the studies of the third cycle, leading to the acquisition of skills and abilities related to quality research, necessary for obtaining the title of Doctor (PhD.) in Economics.
The fundamental objective is the development and defense of a doctoral thesis that incorporates original research results.
The thesis was previously presented in the permanent research seminar of the Master in International Economics and Development of the UCM on the 12th of December 2018.
