One of his clients is a prestigious think tank, The International Institute for Strategic Studies, which is headquartered at Arundel House, an elegant building located in Central London in front of the Thames river, where I was responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the company´s operations. Since 1998 I have done several jobs at different workplaces and countries, that required different skill levels, which I have been able to combine with periods of training and education. The different jobs performed during this period helped me to the acquisition and development of important skills, including adaptation to change, time management, customer relations and teamwork. In addition, I had the opportunity to develop the ability to work under high levels of pressure, both physical and mental, and the capacity of adaptation and flexibility. Some of the jobs performed are:

  • Banqueting Waiter at several 5 and 4 star hotels in Zaragoza, Edinburgh and London
  • Several jobs at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich (2003)
  • Chef Assistant at The Tun restaurant in Edinburgh (2002)
  • Waiter in cruise ships around the Caribbean Sea
  • Crew Member at McDonalds Restaurant and at Sainbury´s in Edinburgh (2001)

Tendiendo Puentes is a civil association linked to the Senior Management Program (PAD) of the University of Piura (Perú). Its aim is to generate bonds of understanding between the State , the private sector and indigenous communities in the Peruvian jungle to carry out development projects. Main functions:

  • Researching and writing of a document which analyzes the conflict (“Baguazo”) between indigenous communities and State forces that took place at Bagua (small town situated in the Peruvian jungle) in 2009

The CITE is the Information Center for Foreign Workers of the Comisiones Obreras union. It proposes alternatives to defend the rights of the migrants workers and improve their living conditions. It is a free service of information, guidance and advice on administrative, labor and socio-cultural issues that may affect them. The objectives of the service are to avoid social and labor discrimination of immigrant workers and to achieve their full integration and the well-being of their families.
